We are a small friendly bridge club and we meet on Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons. Based in the pleasant settings of The Morley Club looking out onto the splendid bowling green. We mostly play duplicate bridge, but on occasions team events are played, these events will be shown on the fixtures list. On Thursday nights we arrive by 6.50 pm for a 7.00 pm start and we play 20 to 24 hands with an interval, where you can have refreshments in the bar. On Friday afternoons we arrive by 1.50 pm for a 2.00 pm start and again play 20 to 24 hands with an interval where you can have tea/coffee and biscuits (or something stronger from the bar).

Visitors are very welcome to join us for either session, but on Thursdays you do need to have a bridge partner whereas on Fridays you can turn up alone and still get a game.  If you would like to play on a Thursday, but you require a partner then you could phone Matthew to see if there is anyone looking for a partner. For members of the Morley Club the cost for either session is £2.00 and for non-members there is an additional visitor’s fee of £2.50.
